Four-Week Course: Lamps

Schedule: Mondays, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Dates: September 14th – October 5th (4 Weeks)

Brighten your space with functional ceramic art! In this 4-week class, you’ll learn to design and hand-build three distinct lighting fixtures: a custom table lamp, a hanging pendant lamp, and a wall sconce.

Rice will guide you through key handbuilding techniques, including coil building, slab construction, and utilizing the clay extruder. We’ll cover structural stability, surface design, drying, glazing, and the basics of wiring your finished pieces. All skill levels are welcome!
