Dates: August 29th and 30th, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Daily lunch break from 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM)

Build your very own ceramic stool or side table, perfect for the garden or home! In this two-day intensive workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of creating strong internal structures that allow clay to support the weight of the human body. The goal of this class is to explore how to build height quickly without sacrificing refinement.

Participants will create a custom stool with a maximum height of 24 inches, resulting in a unique, bespoke addition to their living space.

• Day 1: Focuses on building fast with coils and using templates to maintain structure and control.

• Day 2: Concentrates on surface finishing, slip decoration, and the technical importance of proper leveling.
