Dates: October 25th to November 29th (6 Weeks)

Experience: All skill levels, beginner-friendly 

This six-week course covers all the fundamental techniques for throwing on the potter’s wheel. It is the perfect introduction for beginners, or potters in need of a refresher. Get familiar with the medium as you learn to transform raw clay into functional pottery.

Weeks 1-3: Learn the essentials of centering, opening, and pulling clay to create clean cylinders, cups, and bowls.

Weeks 4 & 5: Refine and finish your pots by trimming foot rings and learning how to pull and attach handles.

Week 6: Explore the studio glaze lab and learn glazing techniques to finish your pieces for their final firing.
